Many of Pharmadanmark’s members are employed and work in the life sciences in the private sector. Only a few employees in the private sector are covered by a collective agreement. This means that employees in the private sector are particularly dependent on their own specific terms of employment.
Legal advice
Pharmadanmark’s legal department is on hand to advise you on your employment contract. We have wide-ranging knowledge of employment contracts in the life sciences industry which gives our members the best means with which to negotiate suitable terms of employment. Advice is available on:
- your contract
- salary negotiation
- leave
- staff benefits
- employment clauses
- share and bonus agreements
- redundancy
If you have questions that do not relate to your employment, such as questions about unemployment funds, pension, insurance or working environment, Pharmadanmark works with expert partners in these fields who are on hand to help. If you should need them, the legal department will quickly put you in touch with the right partner.
Collective agreements
If you work for one of the following employers, you will usually be covered by a collective agreement. Managers may, however, be exempt. The collective agreements that Pharmadanmark has negotiated with private sector employers can be found here.
Salary statistics
No minimum wage usually applies in the private sector. This means that you yourself have to negotiate the salary you require. Pharmadanmark’s legal department is happy to help you prepare for your salary negotiation. As part of that preparation, Pharmadanmark’s salary statistics are a particularly important tool as they can be used as a guideline for you in your negotiation.
