Who are we?
Pharmadanmark is the trade union for professionals with an academic degree related to life sciences who are employed in the pharmaceutical and medtech field. Our members work, for example with the development and production of pharmaceuticals and medical devices in the industry, with safe handling of pharmaceuticals in pharmacies and hospitals, and in universities and agencies.
Pharmadanmark is a modern trade union that works to secure our members the best possible salary and employment terms. One service the trade union offers is quick, expert legal advice.
Pharmadanmark also supports each member’s competencies and networks. The goal is for this professional group to be at least as valuable in the future labour market as it is today.

We have in-depth knowledge about career opportunities within your field. Receive coaching on your career development and help with job hunting. Pharmadanmark also has a mentoring scheme with one-to-one mentoring with an experienced mentor from the relevant sector.
PDA - Pharmadanmark's unemoployment fund
Pays you DKK 12,600 on top of unemployment benefit, if you become unemployed. PDA is a set part of your membership.
Throughout the year, we offer relevant and interesting events for our members: for example on the subjects of salary negotiation, management, regulatory affairs and the labour market of the future.
Pharmadanmark has professional networks within a number of areas such as clinical development, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, pharmaceutical production, keeping members up to date with new knowledge and peer networks. We also have specialist political committees for current issues.
Membership includes a number of cash benefits, including cheap insurance, bank benefits and cards for Forbrugsforeningen (the Danish consumer association).

features interesting and surprising perspectives on your field of work. Reports, series of articles and background stories delve into topics such as new research, life science policy and labour market trends.
'Fredag Formiddag' is a weekly newsletter in your mail box – providing news about research, policy, life science, education and pharmaceuticals etc.
As a trade union, we take care of our members’ interests vis-à-vis the political agenda. We work on a number of key issues within the fields of labour market, health, business, and research and education.
Attend after-hours meetings and network meetings on the topics of study techniques and career paths. We also organize graduate meetings, providing expert advice on career choices, salary negotiation etc. Pharmadanmark also provides one of the cheapest student insurance schemes.
