Pharmadanmark – Private

Welcome to Pharmadanmark – Private, the section for private employee members of Pharmadanmark. You are automatically a member of Pharmadanmark – Private if you are employed within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry or at some other private workplace.

In total, the section has more than 1,900 members, who account for about 60 per cent of the association’s working members. Membership of Pharmadanmark – Private is growing in step with the success of Danish pharmaceutical companies. Your chances of expanding this network are growing accordingly. It is therefore a good idea to keep an eye out for the event we organise.

The association’s members are employed at very different enterprises but have in common the fact that great demands are made of their professionalism and skills. Pharmadanmark – Private tries to reflect this in its offerings to member. In the last year, Pharmadanmark – Private has organised events concerning pay negotiation, stress, communication, personalized medicine, and a couple of social events such as “Good night with the animals” at the zoo. The events are either free or attract only token charges.

The Board

 

The activities of Pharmadanmark – Private are taken care of by a Board consisting of 5-15
active members who want Pharmadanmark – Private to organise exciting and relevant events
for its members. In addition, the Board functions as an active sparring partner for Pharma-
danmark's Executive Committee in matters concerning the private sector. 

The Board meets at intervals of 1-2 months. As a member you are welcome to take part in a
Board meeting, and the Board is happy to supplement new members continuously. 
 
Your opinion is important to us
Your interests as a private employee in the pharmaceutical sector constitute our point of
departure. It is therefore important that you contact us if you lack specialist input or information.
You are invited to take part in the section’s main meeting and contact the Board if you have
any requests or proposals for events. Members for the Supervisory Board and for the
executive council are elected at the section’s main meeting.
 

Main meeting

Pharmadanmark – Private holds a main meeting every year before the end of April. The meeting is announced in Pharma, Pharmadanmark’s electronic newsletter Friday Morning and in the calendar on this page.

At the main meeting, organisational work is combined with specialist input or a presentation on careers and personal development. The main meeting is your chance to engage in dialogue with the Board on the activities of Pharmadanmark – Private
