Pharmadanmark

Pharmadanmark is a professional association which brings together academics in the pharmaceutical sector.

This means that we break with the conventional classification of academic professional associations, which are based first and foremost on graduate training. This classification falls short in a labour market in which only the training people have, and not their job functions, is distinctly different.

We therefore admit

•  all academics with training aimed at the pharmaceutical sector, 
• students on these training courses, and
• holders og masters or bachelor degrees with other university educations who are employed within the pharmaceutical sector (the pharmaceutical and medical sector).

The aims of the association are

• to secure members of the best conditions in terms of pay, employment and career development 
•  to secure members of the best conditions in the context of global competition
•  to secure recognition for the pharmaceutical sector and employees which reflects the fundamental social significance of the sector
• to ensure that attention is paid to conditions for growth and development of the pharmaceutical sector
